Rs 9b IT park in Islamabad - Zone 4 PDF Print E-mail

ISLAMABAD: An IT Park development costing over 9 billion rupees, in Zone 4 of Islamabad, will provide 1.5 million sq ft of contemporary state-of-the-art office space to local and international IT companies

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has issued Letter of Intent (LoI) to International Consortium (TelcoNet, Axor Group Inc Canada and Technopolis Plc, Finland) for the establishment of first state-of-the-art National IT Park, at Chak Shahazad, Islamabad. The IT Park will be developed on Built Operate and Transfer (BOT) model on 14.90 acres of land. After the successful negotiations with the international consortium within next three months, the construction will commence in January 2009 and the project is expected to be completed by January 2011.
